It’s November, and I’m curious as to what has come up that’s surprised you in terms of Happiness and Gratitude?

This week I am feeling Happiness and Gratitude for something I found in the Trash. I know that sounds weird, right? But sometimes you find gems where you least expect it. This week it was on brain health and 8 simple ways to improve it. Let’s find out more about where I found these gems.

I have been focussed on simplicity, calm, less is more and Hygge-ing up my space and my life. That includes my Inbox. When I see there are 11,000 (or more :/ ) messages in my Inbox I go after them with a vengeance, I am happily down to 2500 and have a way to go yet, but I am getting there.

As I sorted through the massive jumble of information I began to appreciate that some of the messages I’d deleted were actually very valuable.

Usually, I don’t even read most of what I receive, there is a lot of junk email, but I am focussing on Mindfulness, so as I scan my emails if I see something that’s in alignment with my beliefs or interests I read it.  It’s always interesting to learn new tips and tricks to improve health and to be proactive with brain health.  There was a gem in those 11,000 + emailsThere’s a  lot of Happiness and Gratitude for my Inbox at the present moment.

It’s just so much simpler when you can actually find what you want, and you’ve kept just what you want in your Inbox.

It’s been Christiane Northrup who’s caught my attention this month. Christiane Northrup interests me as she is an OB/GYN with a super positive attitude towards women’s health and healing.

Christiane is a wholehearted, intelligent woman. She focusses on women’s health, and spirituality. She holds a magnifying glass up to the western medicine approach to treating symptoms with prescription medications and relying heavily on testing. Both of which can be invasive and dangerous.

I do acknowledge western medicine can be very important and valuable, however, a natural proactive approach is my first choice, then I will seek out my MD’s help if I need it.

A positive proactive approach is ideal and Mindset is a big part of the health and healing process. Christiane focusses on everything that can go right with your health.

Approaching health with fear rather than Happiness and Gratitude does not promote health and healing. Beliefs are very important!
