At The Heart of Gratitude is the realization that being thankful isn’t something that is reserved for Thanksgiving. It is a highly potent approach of living every day and every moment. It raises your vibration and it keeps you living in appreciation, joy and contentment.
Sometimes it can be hard to feel gratitude. You may be in pain, depressed, experiencing hormonal shifts, osteoporosis, or dealing with other health concerns. You have been searching for an answer, for the golden egg that will offer you the relief you’ve been seeking.
You could be scrambling around running from one healthcare practitioner to the next, spending thousands of dollars on products that aren’t helping and may even be making things worse.
After experiencing a near-death medical emergency, I spent years in meditation, contemplating the best approach for healing the body, mind, and spirit. I know that less is more and a simple personalized plan is the safest and wisest route to take.
I created an approach to support optimal health and healing in a manner that gently, supports, nourishes and enriches, allowing for growth and expansion and won’t push the system too hard.
To that end, I would like to share with you a few simple practices you can implement to make this a season of mindful growth, gratitude and gentle healing.
These are the core of how I choose to live and they have supported me as I cultivate health, joy and deep satisfaction. The Heart of Gratitude is a new way of looking at life.
Here are 3 simple practices At The Heart of Gratitude, to get you started.
1. Mindfulness is creating an oasis of calm in the midst of chaos. Be Here Now.
Running around, meeting deadlines, finishing laundry, driving to an appointment in busy traffic can whip you into a tizzy. Just give yourself a moment to take a breath, and a few more, and bring yourself into the moment. Focussing on the breath offers you present moment awareness, and bring with it peace, calm, and sanity.
2. Simplifying is my mantra this year. I mentioned Hygge last week, the Scandinavian term for a life well-lived. A life where you choose what matters to you. Simple joys, cozy spaces and objects that contain memories or feelings of love and joy., and lots of love and pleasure with friends and family.
Release the to-list and choosing to simply your life enables you to let go of some of the pressures around keeping up with the scene, and getting more likes on social media.
Simplicity is the opposite of bigger and busier and faster are better. Think being fully in the moment, feeling cozy with a hot cup of tea, woolly socks, a warm afghan, a book and a candle.
A quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle. That cultivates gratitude, simplicity, contentment and present moment awareness.
3. Cultivating contentment and discovering the power of a gratitude practice helps you to be satisfied with ‘what is’ at the present time. Not striving to change it or wishing for more, but feeling a sense of ease, grace, and acceptance for the simplicity and perfection of the moment. Be here now with what is and smiling about it.
These three simple keys are fundamental to the philosophy of my healing system; less is more, and more actually can be worse.
In the past 16 years working with hundreds of people, I have witnessed the most beautiful success stories, using a simple and gentle approach, with a clear path and goal in mind.
A personal healing journey of self exploration, meditation practice or bio-energetic work with Tibetan Bowls or Qigong healing sessions, and a simple supplement protocol using USANA Health Sciences supplements.
This approach gets results, is affordable and can save you thousands of dollars.
I primarily work supporting women experiencing chronic pain and allowing them the freedom from pain to enjoy a life of happiness and freedom.
Over time, I find my wisdom and understanding deepen, and that trends come and go, and come back again.
Best to stick to tried, tested and true.
I had a life threatening experience which knocked my off my feet and took me deeply into PTSD, and it was all a result of too much, of an excess–
I was taking too many products and one very wrong prescription medication that led me to suffer 3 near-death experiences.
That was life-altering and it took me into a long period of deep contemplation and revelation.
In my practice I strive to keep life and healing simple and safe. I recommend just what is needed and no more.
Aiming at cellular health and healing is the best way to create a change and ensure the energy of the body is supported. You are made of trillions of cells and they need to be nourished, protected and renewed. I have found the most effective and simple formula for achieving optimal health is focussed on the cell. Cellular health is the secret to longevity, health, and happiness. Using the USANA Health Sciences products, in conjunction with medical qigong, profound changes occur.

Using Extreme diets, detox programs and a cupboard full of supplements are definitely not the answer, and they can be dangerous. You need a personalized plan that addresses YOUR needs and a simple approach to help you reach your goals.
