Through mindfulness you go home at every moment, wherever you find yourself. Breathe, and you find yourself alive. Breathe, and you are already home, in the here and the now. That is the basic practice; and many of us have succeeded in that practice. When you have become a home for yourself, you become a home for other people at the same time.
To be truly home all you need to do is breathe. Such is Thich Nhat Hanh’s beautifully simple teaching. While you do the dishes, walk your dog, take a shower, be mindful and connect to your breath and you will feel the universal love and support that is there for you.
Thich Nhat Hanh’s teaching has offered me support and guidance through my darkest hours, and provided me with the awareness that I create my own reality moment by moment. I can choose this moment to be challenging or joyful. I choose to create moments of pure joy.
Many beautiful books have been written by Thich Nhat Hanh, (Thay) they are a wonderful addition to any library. I would highly recommend that you go and pick some up.

Mindfulness is the energy of being aware and awake to the present moment. It is the continuous practice of touching life deeply in every moment of daily life.
To be mindful is to be truly alive, present and at one with those around you and with what you are doing.
